My dissatisfaction stems more from the Medicare D RX Plan, rather than from the particular type of plan it is. Before the Republicans forced this upon us, my husband's company gave us a wonderful retiree RX plan with low co-pays and excellent service. After this plan, they decided the company no longer had to provide their retirees with their own RX plan, even though they had promised they would do so, during decades of loyal service to the company. Now, we are stuck with this piece of garbage, which is exactly what it is. AARP Preferred was much better last year and the year before. Co-pays are getting higher, and the Prescription Solutions Mail Order Service has become dysfunctional. Customer service representatives are not well versed in the rules and regulations, and no one cares about the people they are "serving." I no longer would recommend this company, but I don't know of a better one.
