Up to 20 pages of mail, four phone calls, 3 months with no meds and now get one month and advise its off formulary. Communication with CareMark and Blue Shield and subscriber is redundant, inefficient, no on-line account access. I WOULD NOT recommend and I will be dropping the plan 90 days after having signed up during open enrollment. RX had been researched before buying the program and it was then on the formulary.

Keep changing the drugs in the formulary. Just get stabilized on a drug and they drop it from the formulary or charge high tier prices. Then you start on a different drug fine one that works then it is no long covered in next formulary. There is no concern for the patient doesn't matter to them if you wind in the emergency room at a cost of many thousands of dollars and patient's pain and discomfort. It is not their problem the medical coverage has to pay for it and the drug coverage have saved themselves some money at the cost of medical coverage, medicare and the patient.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRUG PLAN!!! There are a lot of drugs not covered as Tier 1 drugs - too many inexpensive generic drugs are listed as Tier 2. Also, there are a lot of drugs that are not covered. You or your doctor need to explain need for certain drugs before they'll approve payment.

When I switched to this plan from Healthnet, I asked how much my most expensive perscription would be for the co-payment. The person on the phone said that it was a $45.00 copayment. When I picked up that perscription after changing I found out it was $98.00 (x 2). Shortly after the first month, I fell into a "coverage gap" where I am required to come up with thousands of dollars on my own, until I reach catastrophic coverage (3+ months). With just enough income to get by -- I am having to go without perscriptions. This insurance is the worst. Healthnet was way better. If you are thinking of switching -- don't do it. Nasty customer service -- uninformed customer service -- on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best -- I'd give this insurance a negative number.
