Medco has some peculiar practices. Upon enrollment, my physician provided RXs to the mail-order service. The bad news is that if the patient doesn't order all of them immediately (because I had significant supplies on hand), ordering them later becomes cumbersome.
Secondly, Medco added a tier ... so many generic drugs are now in a higher cost tier.
The mail and telephone service is excellent. The website is somewhat confusing. It may list your RX ... but you may not be able to order it. Email confirmation of mailed RX medications lists an RX number ... but neither the name or price of the medication.
The deductible of over $300 is just an unnecessary additonal expense --- and therefore anyone considering enrollment in the last 1 or 2 quarters of the year should perhaps consider a less expensive plan.
