I like to use the online service to order and check my balance and cost of the medicine or price a medicine. since 2013 some changes made to the online service that internet explorer and Google search engine does not work . after many calls and frustration, I was told to download Firefox search engine to improve the performance. after many hours of calling , discussing the issues with their tech support, they finally made a ticket to refer this to the higher tech support level. the customer service is good as long as you can get to them, my minimum wait time on the phone is 15 minutes and have to repeat all the information to the phone and agents twice . we had some issues with communication : one of my medicine was mailed for 30 days only before a letter was send to explain the new policy of the new dispensing policy. I also received a call to authorize dispensing a medication by automatic phone service, I was then transferred to an agent. the agent did not know why the call was transferred to him since medicine was already shipped . their communication via letter and e mail is good. the agent and pharmacy are very nice . their online site and authentication by phone is poor. I do not know if the agents pass the problems to a higher authority or not?

This is my fourth year on Medicare, and First Health Part D Premier was my choice of Part D plans for this year, after three years of SEVERE disappointment in the plans I chose--all of which had "bigger, better-known" names than this plan. I cannot remember how I found this plan, but I am terribly grateful that I did. With my previous plans, it seemed that by early summer of each year, I entered "the gap" or "fell into the donut hole." For the remainder of the year, I paid atrocious amounts for my prescriptions. Example: Ninety-day supplies of two different prescriptions cost me OVER $600 EACH. This was totally beyond my means, but I was afraid to quit taking these medications, so I sacrificed in other areas to make it work. This year, my costs have been SO LOW it is hard to believe. We're into September, and from the looks of the statements I receive monthly from First Health, I may not even enter the gap by the end of the year. I am just DELIGHTED with this plan. I pray that the coverage for the coming year will equal what I had this year, in terms of quality as well as premium.

The First Health representative was very helpful on the phone. Coverage has been great & several local pharmacies to choose from. I have referred several people to them.

for the prescription medications I use this is the most economical plan. This is true even considering monthly cost and deductible.
