I am trying to figure out why I even am purchasing Prescription Insurance Supplement through this company [First Health].
My problem is that in approx.the year and half that I have gone on Social Security/ Medicare my RX Insurance premiums have gone from $28+ per month to $49+ per mo.
example: my last rx refill was for a asthma inhaler[Ventolin]....I paid $37.00 co-pay for a rx that costs $53.67! So I paid the co-pay PLUS the monthly premium charges, so I figure First Health saved me $6 to $8 total! WOW!
I have 5 other RXs' that I have to fill every month, but I do NOT feel this is very cost effective at least for me.
I would sincerely suggest anyone looking at this company to keep looking around.
