I also have been checking out the plans. The Humana one sounded good to me. I read where you could get med's in 3 month supply's. My mustake was I asumed there would be one copayment for the three months.
But there web sight state's that you would have to pay 2 if not 3 copayments for the 3 month supply!!!!
Good thing I checked futher! I am helping my mother, she is 84.
I also agree with the nurse, this is a mess!!!.

I think you do pay just one copay for 3-month supplies IF you get "extra help." Some plans get around this by limiting just about everything to a one-month supply. Go to Humana's Medicare Web site for further information on items marked "QL."
For people who do not qualify for "extra help", there are some plans that DO collect two copays for a three-month supply, so there are savings to be found with that setup. AdvantraRx does this and I think a couple of others. When you are in the Tool, look at the 90-day supply column to see it they charge 2 or 3 copays for a 3-month supply.
