Customer service wil put you through the wringer for hours, days. They put your pharmacy through the wringer for hours, days. They put your doctor through the wringer for hours, days. Then they deny coverage for drugs that are covered because they want you to split your pills in half so they can be pilled by the pharmacies less--or some other ridiculous reason. When the doctor doesn't want you to split the pills, because there is no safe way for the ones I am prescribed to be split, they come back with, "the FDA doesn't recommend the dosage." This is the same dosage I have been taken for four years. They just want to avoid paying for four pills instead of two. There are no doctors or pharmacists on staff as they assert there are reviewing their practices. I have reported them to my State Insurance Commissioner for investigation as well as Medicare Fraud for investigation by the FBI. I am hoping this company will receive the penalties and criminal citations they should have been all along. I would encourage anyone having problems with the AARP (in the pants of Congress) contractor to file with the two agencies I have.
