Cigna made a tier change for 2018 forcing us to change to a medication with a lesser tier. When called to verify the new price for the new medication, I was apparently misinformed on pricing. However did not realize it until I went to purchase the new medication. Calling Cigna back they quoted a higher price than my first call, with no apology for the error and d/t the type of drug it is, I am now forced to pay the higher price. Letter sent to the CEO of Cigna.

Prescriptions covered are limited to unrealistic "step plans" and quantity limits. The number of hoops required to obtain coverage for a $4 generic through Walmart/Walgreens is absurd. You are better off saving your money and just paying for the generics at the big box store! The customer "service" is terrible with the representatives speaking down to you and refusing to answer questions.
