The quotes at Medicare.gov showed that using Envision's mail order would save 35% compared to having anywhere else fill the prescriptions.
Unfortunately, EnvisionPharmacies has no clue what they are doing. It took three weeks to get my first prescriptions and several hours on the phone. Two months later my Dr. prescribed a new med. The Dr's office sent a 30-day script to Costco and a 90-day to EnvisionPharmacies. Envision Rx Plus paid all but $22 at Costco for the 30-day script. But, they charged $272 co-pay for 90-day's worth through EnvisionPharmacies.
Meanwhile, I could no longer get into my online account at EnvisionPharmacies.
It took just over 4 weeks, multiple phone calls, several emails, lots of online attempts before I could finally get online. It had taken around 12-14 hours to place an order for refills and get back online. Ridiculous!
You wouldn't believe all the stories they had as to why I couldn't get online. Their "records" of what had been done with my account were almost always wrong.
Meanwhile, the 90 days were up on my original five prescriptions. EnvisionPharmacies refilled one and had ignored the other four.
Once I was finally able to get back into my account at EnvisionPharmacies, I quickly reordered three of the four drugs that had been ignored. I was no longer taking the fourth one.
Well, yesterday I got a call from a woman saying that she was ready to set up my online account. What? I had just been online four days before and four weeks of hassling. She said her records showed the refills had been authorized through an automated phone system. No. That never happened. She also told me there was NO online account for me.
When I got home and checked the mailbox, there was a package from them. It included four refills---the three I had requested online AND the one I no longer take and did not request. How could they get it so wrong?
I went online to see what I could find. Well, I TRIED to go online. Once again, my online account is not accessible.
I can't wait until I am allowed to switch to another insurance company.
