My husband with Parkinson's disease, requires a prescription for a medication that has a generic; however, this plan charges the same price for the generic, which should be a tier 1 drug, as the brand name which is $300 to him. Plus we are paying $90 a month for their plan. I am not sure why we even have a plan based upon the price of his copay which is 50% for this drug.
Secondly, for some reason they cannot process our debit card either online or with their staff. I can use my debit card anywhere else, Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club etc. with no problem. He medicine has been delayed because they are waiting to receive this payment by mail. He has been off his medicine now for 2 weeks, and their solution is to contact the doctor to get a half prescription to fill locally. His physician has more important things to do than write another prescription, because they haven't received their payment yet. This is bureaucracy at its highest. I would not recommend using this plan. as it really hasn't helped us at all.
