This plan is totally disfunctional. The first line people who answer the phone no nothing and cointinually give out misinformation. The only way to get problems solved and have questions correctly answered is to immediately ask for a supervisor. I get cryptic letters about my meds where they will give several reasons why they may be sending this letter. They do not even state which med the letter is about. I call them up and they do not know why the letter was sent or whcih drug it was concerning. Sometimes it takes them 2 or 3 days to figure out why the obtuse uninterpretable letter was sent, and sometimes they never get back to me. Some drug quatities are limited (i.e. limited to one pill per day and special varience must be sought if you physicial perscribes two per day) and no one can tell me why that drug is limited, even though it is generic, a lower dose form available over the counter, and my doctor clearly sees the need for me to take two per day. Sometimes I get recorded messages about my perscriptions that are so vague I cannot figure out what they are talking about and I have to spend the next 2-3 days calling and speaking to 3 or 4 people until even Medco can figure out why the phone message was sent. If you complain about something the reponse is usually "What we did conforms to our company policy." I have been with Medco since I started Medicare, two years, and I am not willing to put up with their incompetancy andy longer. Come the end of the year I will be switching my medicare part D to another company.
