This is my second year with the First Health Part D plan. I expected the premium increase and was sufficiently notified but decided to stay with the plan as they were somewhat reasonable with coverage and co pays last year. Big mistake! So now not only do I pay higher monthly premiums, but all the co pays have increased; and some dramatically. An Rx that had a $6 co pay last year now has. $46 co pay. Any new Rx, even if generic, costs at least $23.
When I received my monthly statement (required by Medicare) I see my co pays and the "plan pays" section is zero. So why am I paying a monthly premium??? They aren't paying out anything.
When I called their "customer service" line asking for an explanation, I get rudeness from a nasty young woman. I can get better cash prices from Good RX without paying a monthly premium.
Stay away from this "insurance". You are better off without it.
