Humana canceled my coverage the day after they approved my coverage a year ago. Unfortunately they never notified me of the cancellation. One year later when I needed my first prescription, I learned from my pharmacist that I had no insurance. After 3 weeks of VERY frustrating calls with Humana "customer service" reps, they admitted they made a mistake when they cancelled my coverage, and reinstated me retroactive to last year. I'm now trying to get reimbursement for the $350 I had to pay out of pocket for pre-surgery prescriptions required while I fought with Humana. I will get a new plan with a different provider during open enrollment.

OK but does not cover librax whichis a generic drug.

have to get prior auth. for glyburide,been taking it for years,now all of a sudden have to call every day to get ok to get refills,too many hassels,leaving plan in october, good ridence! the worst company to deal with!

I am highly disappointed with this plan! My wife and I had prior COBRA coverage until March of this year. The few times I have needed to purchase prescriptions with the plan have been a disaster! Each time, the card has been rejected by Humana with the excuse that there was "other primary insurance in effect." After lengthy delays on the pharmacy end, reluctant authorization would be given...until the next time I needed a prescription filled. Today, my local Walmart pharmacy staff was given 4 different phone numbers to call - to no avail. I finally went home and called customer service and threatened to submit a written compalint to our state insurance commissioner. This time I was given a temporary 30 day exclusion while Humana "researched my plan" to see why the changes were never recognized. There seems to be a serious disconnect between with how the plan functions and handles their client data base. If you don't mind lengthy phone delays, hassles with how your local pharmacy fills your prescription, then go for the lower cost.....but just be very, very, very patient. Good luck!
