I was with Bluerx last year and noticed that the Humana Walmart plan was cheaper on Medicare.gov website, by $700. For my drugs, BlueRX was $3900 and Humana was $3200 per year. Now I know seniors can use and extra $700, I can. So I shifted to Humana starting 1/1/15. Now each plan has this caveat about price changes are possible starting on 1/1/15, but you have to sign up by 12/15/14. So I'm figuring that I'm going to be paying a little more because of price changes. My plan has gone up $2000 for my prescription drugs, not premiums or deductibles, but how much my drugs will cost me. I checked this on Medicare.gov after one of the drugs I take, was way more expensive than what I paid for with BlueRx. FOLKS, WHY DO WE HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR A DRUG PLAN WITHOUT KNOW HOW MUCH IT'S ACTUALLY GOING TO COST? ANYBODY GOT AN ANSWER? HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD ORDER A TV ON DECEMBER 15 AND ACCEPT THE PRICE THE STORE WANTS TO CHARGE YOU ON JANUARY 1ST?

The worst of the bad. Be prepared for an hour on the phone if you need 60 day supply of tier 1. I now just tell the druggist not to use insurance. Same price or less for generics and save ulcers and rise in blood pressure. They don't help much if any on ear and eye infection meds. Not on the list. Actually bought topical antibiotic for 50% less by not claiming insurance. A prime example of seeking something for nothing. It just doesn't happen. No free lunch. Don't even consider this mega size insurer.

I have had Humana Walmart Rx Plan for seven months and have been jerked around for seven months. My doctor has been contacted at least once a month for "clarification" of my two prescriptions. I was told the two maintenance drugs I've taken for ten years would be free (Tier One and zero co-pay.) I am now on different drugs because the statement was not true! The prescription for the two drugs they allowed to be combined was written on one piece of prescription paper. Someone misread the number of re-fills and now I have to bother my doctor to get a SECOND prescription written. I thought I was going to save money going with Humana/Right Source. (Never had a problem like this with Express Scripts in over ten years!) The aggravation I've been through offsets any financial savings. Do NOT sign up with this company unless your only prescription drug is an aspirin (and even with something as simple as that they'll find a way to make your life hell!)
