This company is terrible they took money from my bank account refused to refund the money. Sent me information saying had no deductible no co pay no premium, cancel my coverage for not paying premium when they said had none ,no warning at all, every time I called they transferred me fro one department to another kept asking what’s the problem ,they would say are reviewing my case said it could take up to three months to reinstate. I told them I could not wait that long I have diabetes and have a transplanted organ have to have my anti rejection drugs and insulin and other meds, I told them I paid the premium up to curent, they would say well what’s the problem I had to pay 400 dollars for deductable 51% percent of the drug cost. This company is the worst I’ve seen. I had to end up getting Medicare on the phone on a three way call and threaten them before they would reinstate my policy. Don’t use this company they will end up getting you some how some way.

I used an exchange to see what the out of pocket cost would be for my medications over a 1 year period and found Wellcare Classic would be the least expense for their 90 day mail order plan. Each 90 days I paid $215.33 for 5 medications for 90 days. The drugs never changed, but Wellcare Classic switched mail order from Exactus to CVS Caremark and when I placed my year end order my share went from $215.33 to $385.30, a $169 difference. I called and was told I told by CVS to call Wellcare. Wellcare told me I reached a level where I had to pay more. This was not in the cost evaluation I completed to see which company would be the least cost and it should have been. This took 4 phone calls and over 45 days to discover and I had run out of medication and had to get new prescriptions to fill locally. CVS claims to have shipped one for the $30.00 on my charge card, but it never arrived. When called I was told to call the post office as it shows it got there. Overall this plan appears to have a way to not provide filling prescriptions in the last 90 days of it and does not provide the real out of pocket costs when using the comparison tools.

I USE THE EXACTUS MAIL IN PHARMACY THROUGH WELLCARE. THEIR LACK OF SERVICE IS APPALLING. I USE THEIR WEB SITE TO CHECK ORDER STATUSES. MY WIFE HAD ORDERED A SCRIPT AND AFTER 10 DAYS AND NO MEDS I CHECKED THE STATUS AND IT STATED IT HAD SHIPPED. THINKING THE MAIL WAS A BIT LATE I WAITED SEVERAL MORE DAYS AND STILL NO MEDS. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AFTER TALKING WITH A COMPUTER FOR SEVERAL MINUTES I WAS ABLE TO SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. I WAS QUITE UPSET WHEN I WAS ADVISED THAT THE MEDICINE WAS ON HOLD. I ASKED WHY THE STATUS INDICATED 'SHIPPED' AND WAS TOLD THAT IF IT DID NOT HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER IT PROBABLY HAD NOT SHIPPED. (GO FIGURE). MY WIFE NEVER PLACED THIS MED ON HOLD. SHE CALLED AFTER I CHECKED THE STATUS OF THE RX SHE HAD ORDERED AND WE REALIZED THERE WAS RX LISTED THAT SHE DID NOT ORDER. THIS RX WAS A DRUG TO TREAT PROSTATE PROBLEMS (GO FIGURE). ANYWAY SHE HAS BEEN WITHOUT HER MEDS FOR 5 DAYS NOW. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL BE BUYING OUR DRUGS AT THE LOCAL PHARMACY.
