WellCare is awful and their customer service is even worse. I was terminated because they had noted that I was no longer in a plan coverage area even though I had never moved and my address had been the same with social security and Medicare since I joined the plan. I never received a letter of the termination, I found out when my pharmacist when I went to get the month supply of my meds. When I called to work out the issues, it took 3 days before I could even find someone who could explain the issue and let me know I would need to re-enroll. I called to be re-enrolled and I was told I have to wait until the first of the month for my benefits to be active. That's right, even though I made my payments and was wrongfully terminated I have to wait for my coverage to be activated in 8 days to get the meds I need. I took a total of 7 hours in 3 days to finally be sent to their "escalation team" who was not in, so I have to wait another day to see if the escalation team can assist, but from everything I'm hearing from the customer service reps, I'm just going to have to wait until the 1st.
