very difficult to get the prices for said medication ......instead of certain prices they give you % for each prescription... dont make it easy..... hARD HARD HArd. beside that, the nbr given in medicare info is the following 1-877-357-1685 never answers .....i called at differeat times but they never answered therefore i had to go into the internet to find a different nbr. not good---bad bad bad

I have been trying to sign up for this plan but have a very hard time getting answers. Many of the telephone reps answer questions with "I don't think so or I'm not sure" which is not helpful. They also require you to sign a statement that says "Humana has the right to change the program at any time if they notify the customer." I have been told that this is just a formality but it makes me nervous.

I can't believe I'm the first customer to rate Health Spring's Pharmacy Program through your website. I thought Health Spring was everywhere with many customers; where are they all? I've been using Health Spring's pharmacy service ever since the Federal Government and the State of Tennessee adopted this program for Medicare and low-income-Medicaid patients; I suppose that was when Medicare Part-D went into effect. The state assigned this insurance program to me, so I had no choice in the matter. And I feel barely qualified to comment on the cost of this program because I pay hardly anything at all, less than $10 a month. I will say I am extremely grateful to the State of Tennessee for the economic assistance that I receive for my drugs. I couldn't make it without them. I've had very good overall luck with Health Spring's services. Of course, there has been a glitch here and there as I'm sure there would be with any insurance company that must work in conjunction with patients, pharmacies, doctors, state and federal-government agencies. However, I don't remember anything more serious than one phone call from my doctor, pharmacist, or me to resolve any issue. I routinely take 8 to 9 medications for a chronic condition and only once did their formulary change enough to require additional intervention on my doctor's part. My pharmacy will generally make sure I have enough medicine for the few days that it may take to resolve any problem. When one of my meds went from patented to generic, Health Spring automatically changed it to the less costly generic. I didn't mind at all. Each year Health Spring sends me updated booklets regarding their plan along with their drug formulary and physicians guide, so I never seem to lack any information. Thank you for allowing me to comment on a fine company.
